Having grown up in the beautiful town of classical music – Vienna – but not having been blessed with an especially remarkable musical talent, it was always clear to me, that I would need to work from the other side and facilitate music-making by all those amazing artists the world has to offer.

Starting off as a youngster, I worked as an usher and ticket office representative at Jeunesse Musikalische Jugend, listening to hours of concerts in the Musikverein, Konzerthaus and venues such as the Porgy & Bess or MQ. I didn’t cease to love classical music, so I started my studies of Musicology at the University of Vienna. Knowing I would need more experience in the field and would most probably not find a job based on a Bachelor in Musicology, I lucked out and became a production assistant at the Grafenegg Music Festival for two consecutive summers. Following the second summer, I was offered a job as a tour manager for Orchester Wiener Akademie and made responsible for touring the opera/theater productions The Infernal Comedy and The Giacomo Variations with John Malkovich as well as orchestra tours to Israel, the United States, Canada, China and through-out Europe. After a year I also took on the office of artistic administration and produced the first season of the concert cycle RE-SOUND Beethoven. Yearning for new experiences and a change of scene, I decided to move to Berlin and take up studies for a masters in arts administration at Freie Universität Berlin. I finalized my studies with a master thesis titled Virtual and augmented reality as an audience development strategy and moved back to Vienna.

My husband Marcello and I then founded the creative agency Roark with the idea of assisting artists in all media and social media related issues they might have. We started by working for Austrian fashion designer Irina Hofer, creating sales funnels via social media to improve sales. We were then approached by opera tenor Jonas Kaufmann and have now taken on the job of managing his social media channels, developing branding strategies with his team and assisting his office in organizational matters.

During the summer of 2018 I did a short switch back to the world of arts administration and worked as a summer production assistant in the concert office at Salzburger Festspiele.

As of now, I am immersed in all things ROARK once again.
